The Bougie Bar is a fun place to make candles and drink wine. We offer private parties for groups of 10 or more, as well as social parties which are held on certain days throughout the month. For more information, click here!

Parking is available on street or in the paid parking lot at 100 E Garfield Street.

Your candle-making experience will last for 2 hours. We do ask that you arrive on time to be considerate of our other guests.

The cost includes all of the materials to make a custom-blended candle and a Bougie Expert to guide you along the way.

Sure! However, it costs to be bougie so additional fees will apply.

We want you to have a good time, however, hard alcohol is not allowed at The Bougie Bar. We welcome all guests to bring their favorite bottle of wine or champagne if they would like. Please understand we want you to have fun, but if you have too much fun, an UBER or LYFT will be called and charged to your card on file. All individuals that consume alcohol are required to be 21 years of age or older and have a valid ID.  

Sure thing! Appetizers, finger foods, and charcuterie boards tend to be the easiest and most popular food items that guests bring.

Nope! No corking fee here.

Not necessarily. Our social parties are the perfect option for smaller groups or individuals to pour on their own.

Yes, we ask that you please book your spot online for your private party or social party.

Walk-In's Available

Lafayette - We do have a dedicated walk-in space during our normal business hours, but we recomend that you call in advance to make a walk-in reservation.

Baton Rouge - If you are interested in just dropping in, please call the store prior to dropping in.

We understand things may come up. If you already booked a spot, but need to cancel, your booking can be transferred to another date. If you need some more time to pick a date, we can issue you a gift card for later use.

Bougie Parties are open to ages 10 and older. Anyone 17 years of age and younger will need to be accompanied by an adult during the party. 

Your candle needs some time set, so it will be ready for pickup the next business day. We will hold your candles for up to 30 days.

Pickups are available during our regular business hours, but be sure to ask your Bougie host when your candle may be ready for pickup. If that doesn’t work, then we can ship your beauty to your home for $12.

Yes, we offer candle refills for $20 in any Bougie container!
